If you don't have, you can download it in App store and install it on your iPhone. After the app is installed, open the app. When you enter into the app, you will see the interface as the below: there are five categories at the bottom of the interface.
Click "Search" at the bottom right corner to enter the page of "Search". Click one of them you want to download, then the detailed information of the news will appear. After you finish NPR podcasts downloading, you can find the podcast in the "My Podcasts" and click it to play. The software can also automatically download music tags and allows you to manually add music tags for your recordings.
In this way, each recording can be with customized tags. Moreover, it has a built-in Task Scheduler that helps you record automatically. What you need to do is simply set the start time and recording duration. Before you record, you can also adjust the sound quality of the recording by setting bit rate and sample rate. You can click the play button directly or enter into the article page to play. There is a drag-down icon at the top right corner where you can find Settings. Choose "Record Computer Audio" as the audio source. On the "Settings" panel, click "Format" to adjust parameters of bit rate, sample rate and audio codec. MP3 is easier to play in different devices, so you can choose MP3 as the output format. Simply click the yellow folder icon to browse folder to save. Click the recording button to record.
Remember to start recording before playing the NPR podcast you want to download. After you finishing recording, you can add music tags for your NPR podcast download.
